Inmersion, French press

The French Press works by steeping coffee grounds and hot water together, this allows time for the water to dissolve more oils, aromas, and flavors from the coffee.

French Presses use a metal filter that allows natural oils and fine particles from the coffee beans to pass through into your cup. If you are a person who likes coffee a bit stronger, this method provides you a rich and flavored coffee cup.

Preparation time: 5 minutes.

Select coarse grinding

Ratio: Baristas recommend to start with 17 grams

(~ 2.25 soup spoons) per one cup of coffee.

Before starting, preheat your French press with boiling water and pour it out. This will help avoid thermal shock.

Add the coffee, then the hot water. Stir with a spoon.

Cover with the top, making sure the plunger is up.

Let it sit for 4 minutes. After time has passed,

bring the plunger slowly down and you are all set to enjoy a delicious coffee.
